Presentation of the L'Assomption Christmas Market and its commitments
The L'Assomption Christmas Market (MDNL) has been putting the principles of sustainable development into practice through numerous initiatives since its first edition in 2009. The event adheres to the various pillars of sustainable development by ensuring environmental protection, social equity, and viable long-term economic development. Each year, the organizers rethink their practices, evaluate the impact of their actions, and assess the event's economic benefits in order to ensure continuous improvement.
In 2023, the MDNL Board of Directors adopted a sustainable development policy taking into account the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats affecting the event.
